People don’t understand friendship anymore

Friendship isn’t where you hang out every once in a while and text each other about your day. Friendship is actually taking a personal interest and investment in someone’s life who you think is worthwhile. Taking interest in their interests, supporting their dreams whatever they may be, and doing anything you possibly can to help them and be there for them. The word friendship has been grossly deformed and overused to where it’s replaced the term acquaintance. Friendship is so much deeper than the implications it’s given, and unfortunately true friendship, like the term itself, has been all but lost in our modern time.

Don’t get bitchy with me…I’ll use my sharp sarcasm on you

I want to go see drive again. Who would like to come with me?

How do you feel about homosexuals? Do you have any gay friends?

I do have gay friends, who are absolutely awesome. I’m a fully well adjusted 21st century American who thinks everyone has the right to pursue what makes them happy. I’m by no means a judge of what’s right and wrong for people to do, and as long as it’s not hurting anyone than be happy for God’s sake!

That’s what Christianity lost along the way…

They decided to close their doors to anyone who wouldn’t conform to them

so they stopped knowing Bob, or John

they started knowing, That guy that bought cigarettes

or the lady that buys beer

or that teenage rebel that goes to parties

or the guy with long hair

or the girl with a short skirt

 Or the gay guy

Well I refuse to pass out labels, judgments, and putting people in boxes. I want to know people personally, by name, and have friends. I don’t really care what make them “Different” because I have my own list of those things!

Don’t give up…

On People

On your dreams

on life

on friendship

on love

on adventure

on learning

on yourself

Believe in yourself, be yourself, and chase what you believe in with all your heart.

I believe in people because no one believed in me…

I tell people they’re beautiful because people told me I was ugly…

I tell people to be themselves because people tried to put me in boxes…

I tell people to just have fun because I didn’t get to have much fun growing up..

I tell people to chase their dreams like nothing else matters because no one encouraged me to chase mine.

I’ve done all of the above now, no thanks to anyone around me, and I can honestly say it’s worth it
